Public Relations Portfolio

In Summer 2025, I enrolled in a public relations writing course where I served as a hypothetical PR professional for Team Liquid. These materials were developed for educational purposes. The following information is not intended to be factual but is part of a class writing assignment in the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. All information is intended to be sourced appropriately.

Project 01: Audience Persona for Team Liquid

This project involves analyzing Team Liquid's demographic and creating a persona for the customer of Team Liquid. This helps works with statistics and customer segmentation in order for the development of a proper persona.

Project 02: Fact Sheet

Compose a one-page word document fact sheet for your organization. This is a piece that would accompany your news release to get straight to the point.

Project 03: News Release

Your company needs you to write a news release. Take your fact sheet and turn it into a full news release in a Word document. Keep the event the same from the fact sheet.

Project 04: Diversity Analysis

The assignment has been designed to develop your knowledge of you chosen organization, the issues it supports (or doesn’t support) and how to strategically position CSR and CSA initiatives that align with the mission and values of the company.

Project 05: Media Pitch

Media contact lists are used for having a collection of relevant people that could be interested in covering and writing about your material. Select one of your contacts from the list of five. You are going to pitch the specific reporter at the media outlet, and invite them to write about your company with an exclusive interview.

Project 06: PESO Model

Build an IMC campaign using your company's news. What's the news? Anything you've developed in the class - it could be your anniversary celebration, CSR campaign idea from the diversity analysis, or anything else. On each slide, create at least one example of each PESO element for your campaign with an image or screenshot.

Project 07: Media Briefing Plan and Talking Points

Led the planning and implementation of a community engagement initiative for Team Liquid to strengthen ties with the fan base and local communities. The initiative included organizing fan events, charity partnerships, and outreach programs to foster a sense of belonging and support.

Project 08: Email Campaign

Use BREVO to create an e-newsletter.
